The Sherwood Cast Iron radiator range typically suits traditional interiors, such as Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian homes and décor, but can be used in contemporary spaces such as loft apartments and urban living environments.

What are Sherwood Cast Iron Radiators?

Cast Iron are the traditional radiator, made in moulds from molten cast iron, these radiators are formed of individual sections which are joined to form a ‘battery of sections’ (a radiator), using similar methods to that used in Victorian times.

It is important to note that Cast Iron Radiators will take longer to heat up than Steel or Aluminium sectional radiators, but once hot will hold their heat for longer.

Available in a 4-column option, in up to 3 heights, the Sherwood is supplied as standard with footed end sections to make installation as easy as possible. Due to the nature of cast iron these are heavy radiators and will require two people to lift into position and install.

Use our Heat Output Calculator to work out your requirements and find the right size radiator for your space.

The Sherwood, like all our radiators and towel rails, complies with EN442 legislation. Compliant independent test certificates are available upon request.
